It is about five minutes' walk from the property to the Old Salterns, and from there it is possible to walk along the coast to Keyhaven - this area of the coast is a bird sanctuary. There is a sunny and well-screened garden at the rear, which is ideal for children, with patio, barbecue and garden furniture. It is also within about fifteen minutes' walk of Lymington High Street.
