A cobbled quay leads leads down to the waters edge where local fishing boats offload their daily catch. The ancient Saturday charter market lines the High Street each week and is a must visit, with its vast selection of stalls and crafts. The Lymington sea water baths, with inflatable course and kayak/paddle board hire, is close by, and for a more energetic walk or cycle, continue along the sea wall and enjoy the views across the Solent towards the Isle of Wight. For an exciting day out, take the train from Lymington Town station and board a ferry to the Isle of Wight! The beautiful New Forest National Park is within a 10 minute drive with miles of heathland to explore - enjoy walking, cycling or horse riding amongst the free-roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys.
